Gary Herron - Managing Director
Gary worked in the Commercial and Corporate Banking arena for over 23 years across the UK in addition to spells in the Middle East and Bermuda where he was heavily involved it the Tourism and Hospitality sectors. He returned to his Native North East in 2007 after 12 years 'travelling'.
His wide ranging experience in many sectors brings a strong client focus and positive customer service approach – key elements to help iSM continue to rapidly grow in the customer centric Tourism sector.
Gary is a graduate of the CBI's Future Leaders programme, and a member of both the North East Chamber of Commerce and the Entrepreneurs Forum.
When not working Gary enjoys taxiing his 2 boys Matthew and James to a combination of Scouts, Harriers, Karate, Football and Rugby! Together with his wife Lisa Gary is a keen golfer and also tries to keep fit with swimming being his current passion.
Sara Killen - Finance Director
After qualifying in practice Sara decided to spread her wings in the real world by joining iSM. Since taking the leap her skill set has certainly been challenged but Sara has coped well with the myriad of issues that head towards her job title in a small business!
Whilst her main focus is the Financial side of the business (Accounts, Debtors, Management Info) Sara also looks after HR, Health and Safety and, well, basically anything else we can think of!
When not at work Sara Zumba’s her week nights away & enjoys all things Motorsport especially F1 and a certain Mr Button!
Dana Mullins - Sales Manager
Being iSM’s longest serving employee there’s not a lot Dana doesn’t know about the business and many of our clients. With a strong background in sales Dana leads the Berwick Account Manager team from the front.
Quick as a flash and one of the friendliest sales people you’re ever likely to speak to Dana continues to build our client base at a rapid rate!
When not at work Dana enjoys ‘dinner parties’ with her friends, keeping fit by pounding the miles out on the road and planning her next far flung holiday.
Karen Scott - Sales Manager
Karen has accumulated a wealth of experience as a front line sales executive being involved in direct customer relations across a wide range of sectors.
Returning home to Newcastle in 2007 Karen joined iSM and has proven to be an overwhelming success dealing with our clients in the North East and now further afield. Karen leads our Tyneside sales efforts from our newly established Cramlington offices.
Karen is multilingual and fluent in both Greek and Danish.
When not working Karen is often to be seen Nordic Walking all over the North East – if you ever need convincing of its benefit just mention the subject to her!
Operations Team
Headed by Kieran Innes and ably supported by Cameron Carstairs and John White the Ops team looks after all aspects of our internal portfolio management, domain development & Search Engine Optimisation.
Client requirements from the ongoing development of our CMS and the day to day management of client listings ensure the guys are always fully occupied.
With significant experience across many digital sectors Kieran, Cam and John continue to strengthen our already positive online presence and enhance our domains for the ultimate benefit of all our clients.
Account Manager Team
In addition to our Sales Managers our Account Managers Danny Hughes, Lynley Ramsay and Paul Robson in our Berwick office are the main points of contact for our ever increasing client base.
Not only do they smoothly manage the day to day needs of current clients Danny, Lynley & Paul also find time to help grow the business by working with inbound enquirers and contacting new prospects to introduce relevant online marketing opportunities.
Significant sales and service experience in many sectors enable the team to stay close to our clients and anticipate their growing requirements on a regular basis.
